Important Camp InformationThe Legacy Spirit Medallions Award CeremonyWhat would camp be without the awards ceremony? The last day of camp will include the Legacy Spirit Medallions Award Ceremony. Your squad’s outstanding jumpers, stunters, spotters, team builders, leaders, dancers, and performers will be honored for their unique skills with custom engraved Legacy Spirit medallions that can be sewn onto their letter jackets. Parents are encouraged to attend the awards ceremony. NEW: Have Camp at Wildfire Cheer GymWhile we bring mats and equipment of our own to your school, nothing can replace a well-equipped cheerleading training gym. This summer, you can have camp at Wildfire Cheer Gym. Your team can train on our rod floor tumble track, use our overhead spotting belt, and enjoy the safety of landing in our resi-pit (for standing tumbling or cradle drills). Our training gym is designed for cheerleaders and is equipped to train your team with first class equipment. Teams are responsible for their own lodging and meals when they have their camp at our facility, but we'll throw you a discount for coming to us. Daily ScheduleEach Day camp will begin at 9:00 AM and end around 4:00 PM with an hour lunch break. The standard private camp lasts 3 days. Why Choose a Legacy CampCan you really learn as much from a 3 day private camp as a 4 day resident camp? Yes! and more. Because your squad will have 4 personal instructors, your team will get more attention than all the squads combined at most small resident camps. Your team will learn more dances, more chants and cheers, more stunt skills, and more pyramids in a dedicated 3 day private camp than a 4 day resident camp with one of the "big spirit companies," and-best of all-cheerleaders will always have an instructor guiding them, even if the squad breaks up into several small stunt groups, each group will have its own instructor! Many "big companies" hire former high school cheerleaders before they have college experience. These instructors are often not much more knowledgeable than most senior high school cheerleaders. Legacy Spirit Camps are different: Legacy instructors are veteran BSU cheerleaders and coaches because experience counts. Choosing Legacy Spirit to teach your private summer camp makes sense. Prior to camp we'll ask you to tell us about your squad. What are your team's strengths and weaknesses? What does your squad already know? What are your team's goals? We use this information and tailor a program just for your squad. |
Save Money with a Buddy SquadSmall squads have a harder time paying for private camps because the per camper cost is higher than it is for larger squads. Small squads are welcome to pair up with other small squads to save money. Squads must find their own “buddy squad” (although we’re willing to help identify small squads who are interested in finding a buddy squad). “Additional campers” rate (over 20 campers) still applies. Email us at legacy@legacyspirit.com if you would like us to keep your name on file as looking for a buddy squad in your area. If another squad contacts us we will put you in contact with each other. |
